Q. What is the Foothills ATV Riders?

     A. The Foothills ATV Riders is a non profit organization.

Q. Can anyone join?

     A. Yes, anyone can join but there may be a waiting list.

Q. How do I become a member?

    A. If you are interested in becoming a member of our club, you will need to submit via United States Postal Service an Application for New Membership and a Waiver which can be found at the following link. New Membership Application You will also need to complete ATV Operators Defense, Indemnity and Hold Harmless Agreement and sign in front of a Notary Public. If you have any questions, contact information is provided at the top of the new membership application.

All of the information you?re looking for regarding membership fees can be found in our documents. Your first year membership includes initiation fee. Second year fee is reduced. 


Q. I am a member of the Foothills ATV Riders Club. What should I use for log in name?

A. When a member first registers with the site they will be required to create a user ID. Please use First and Last Name along with the email address you have registered with the club as that is what we will be using to verify your membership. For those who have family membership and multiple email addresses for additional members. Send us an email from your registered email with the additional email address or addresses and we will send them an invite through the system.

 Q. How do I get my name put on the waiting list?

     A. You can be added to our waiting list by clicking here.

Q. I am already a member & have purchased an additional ATV and would like to register it with the club. What forms will I need to file and are there additional fees?

     A. The form you will need is Foothills ATV Riders Inc. Reg. Renewal Form 2019- 2020. You can find the form by going to the documents tab in the website menu at the top of the page. If you have a single membership, you will be required to upgrade your membership to the family and pay the difference

 Q. I am unable to upload photos or add a photo to my profile, what should I do?

    A. If you are unable to upload a photo to your profile or to the photo gallery, please make sure that you have all of the recent updates to your computer as well as update your flash player.

 Q. What is the difference between a limited member and a member on this website.

    A. Those who have member with there profile are Foothills ATV Riders Club Members & limited members are not. Members have access to all of this websites pages and features while limited members do not. 

Q. I didn't receive my confirmation email of registration and it's not in my spam folder?

    A. All those who wish to join this website must be manually approved by a site administrator. This can take up to 48 hours. Once a site administrator has had a chance to verify your membership with the club roster, you will receive a confirmation or denial.

 Q. Is this website accessible from an Android device?

    A. Yes, you have access to this website while on the go anywhere you have data services 

Q. Who can upload photographs & Videos to the website?

     A. Currently, Administrators, Moderators & Club members are allowed to up load photos and videos. 

Q. I am not able to open the forms you have provided on the website regarding membership registration because it is an xls. extension, what are you doing to correct this issue?

A. For those who are unable to open EXCEL documents from this website, you will be required to contact the club to receive those documents via snail mail or other arrangements. In the future, I will be working on creating an online form to replace these documents but this will take a little time.


Q. I have registered to become a member of the website but I haven't been approved, and I haven't heard back from you, can you tell me why?

A. Once you register to become a member of the website a notification is sent to the webmaster letting them know there is a pending membership. At the webmasters convenience your information will be verified against the master membership list. If your information can't be verified you will not be approved. You will receive a notification and your information will be removed from our system as we don't store non member information. You will be required to register with this website again.

Q. I came up on a pink ribbon across a trail while I was riding, what does this mean?

A. It means that the trail has been closed by the clubs board of directors at the land owners request. If you should come across a closed trail, please respect the land owners request and do not enter. I you should choose to go beyond this ribbon, it will cause the club to loose the rights to trail access.

 Q.When are your trails open?

A. Our trails are open from January 1 thru October 1. All trails will be closed during big game hunting season which ends in December. The date trails open back up be posted on the websites trail page. There is a section of the trail system that is closed after 6 O'clock PM daily. Please respect the land owners request and turn around.

Q, Why are there gates along the trails?

A, Land owners may have animals grazing on the property. Please use causing always and respect the wishes of the land owner and close the gate after you go through. not doing so could cause the club to lose access to the property.
