Starting membership year 2024-2025 all members will be required to submit a NEW-ATV Operators Defense Indemnity and Hold Harmless Agreement. Currently, ANY new members who have recently submitted a waiver this calendar year will not be required to submit a new one.

Foothills ATV Riders BYLAWS

THE RULES

​

A. ALL RIDERS AND PASSENGERS MUST WEAR A HELMET WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.

 (any rider or passenger caught riding without a helmet will face sever penalty)

B. GUESTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A VALID CLUB MEMBER AT ALL TIMES. MAXIMUM OF 3 GUESTS PER MEMBER. ALL GUEST MUST COMPLY WITH MEMBERSHIP RULES AND POSSESS A VALID DAY PASS FOR THE SPECIFIC DAY THEY ARE RIDING.

C. ALL ATV'S MUST HAVE A FOUR CYCLE ENGINE. (EXCEPT FOR 2 CYCLE ENGINES UNDER 150CC'S)

D. NO EXHAUST SYSTEMS WITH EXCESSIVE NOISE, WHICH MEANS YOUR PRETTY MUCH STUCK WITH STOCK EXHAUST. THIS IS ENFORCED, IF YOUR EXHAUST IS TO LOAD, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO FIX IT.

E. NO THREE WHEELERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE CLUB. 

​

F. YOUR MACHINE WIDTH CANNOT EXCEED 64 INCHES.

​

G. ALL MEMBERS, GUESTS AND LANDOWNERS WHO WILL BE RIDING OFF THEIR PROPERTY WILL HAVE ON FILE WITH THE CLUBS SECRETARY AN ATV OPERATORS DEFENSE, INDEMNITY & HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT, AND THE PROPER VALID INSURANCE & REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS.

H. ALL LANDOWNERS WILL BE ASKED TO SIGN AND HAVE ON FILE WITH THE CLUB A LANDOWNER PERMISSION FORM FOR THE FOOTHILLS ATV RIDERS LLC.

TRAIL USAGE

I. ALL NEW YORK STATE LAW WILL BE ADHERED TO.

J. ONLY DULY SIGNED ROADS WILL BE RIDDEN BY CLUB MEMBERS 25 MPH MAX.

K. TRAILS WILL BE OPEN FOR THE RIDING PERIODS WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS.

Hunting season which is considered to be from October 1st through December 31, also determined yearly.

Mud season will also be determined yearly. The month of April is Jr Turkey Hunting Season therefore the next to the last two weekends the trails will also be closed until 12:oopm, also determined yearly.

The month of May is Turkey Season, therefore the trails will also be closed until 12:00pm daily.

MISCELLANEOUS

​

THE CLUB WILL MAINTAIN A SAFE TRAIL SYSTEM, PROPERLY MARKED, CLEAN AND MAINTAINED.  ALL MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO ASSIST IN THIS. WHAT YOU TAKE IN YOU TAKE OUT.  LEAVE IT BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT.  THE CLUB WILL REWARD ANY ORGANIZED WORK DETAIL (2 HOURS OR MORE) WITH A BREAKFAST OR LUNCH A VOUCHER MUST BE SIGNED BY AN OFFICER OF THE FOOTHILLS ATV RIDERS LLC.

All club rules & regulations will be strictly enforced. If you are in violation of any club policies you will be approached by a member of the Board Of Directors in regards to the violation and could face disciplinary actions that may include having your membership revoked.
